The ‘Phoenix’ was created for the WOMAD Festival (2017) by myself and Ben Thwaites designed by Dot Young. It was a performative puppet in which the head and neck could move directed by the performer and was required to be light-weight, durable and weather resistant. This included a costume for the performer created by Ben Thwaites, a child-friendly Torch by myself and the phoenix head by Dot Young.
